Quicklizard Announces Completion of Acquisition by Riverwood Capital

Quicklizard, a pioneer in AI-driven pricing optimization, today announced the official closing of its acquisition by Riverwood Capital, one of the leading investment firms solely dedicated to technology growth and scalability. The acquisition strengthens Quicklizard’s position as the go-to partner for businesses navigating today’s increasingly volatile economic environment.

Tariff realignment, supply-chain disruptions, persistent inflation, and fast-changing consumer behaviors have rendered traditional pricing strategies insufficient. Businesses now require dynamic, intelligent systems that learn, adapt, and respond in real time. Quicklizard’s real-time and AI-powered platform converts pricing from a reactive task into a proactive growth engine – learning, adopting, and responding instantly to market shifts.

“Quicklizard was built for moments like this,” said Pini Mandel, CEO of Quicklizard. “Today’s environment demands precision, adaptability, and speed. With our pricing expertise and strategy creation we empower businesses not just to respond to change—but to predict and shape it.”

Trusted by leading global retailers and brands, including SephoraJohn Lewis, and Samsung, Quicklizard enables companies to identify relevant competitors, avoid unnecessary price wars, forecast demand with precision, optimize pricing while accounting for inventory, and implement advanced article segmentation strategies. These capabilities have consistently delivered tangible business results, driving an average 8% increase in revenue and a 3%-5% uplift in profits for its clients.

“Our focus is on helping our customers move faster, think smarter, and win more often,” added Mandel. “With Riverwood’s support, we’re ready to expand the limits of what’s possible in dynamic pricing and business strategy.”

Riverwood Capital’s investment will fuel Quicklizard’s next phase of growth, with a focus on scaling its Generative AI innovation, expanding global operations with a focus on the USA, and further strengthening its leadership in retail and e-commerce.

“Quicklizard delivers tangible, measurable value,” said Ramesh Venugopal, Partner at Riverwood Capital. “Its advanced AI-powered pricing platform gives retailers a vital edge in an environment where every margin point and moment matters. Whether integrating with rule-based systems or enabling full AI-driven automation, Quicklizard meets customers where they are – bridging today’s needs with tomorrow’s possibilities.”

In addition to advancing Quicklizard’s growth, the acquisition also underscores Riverwood’s broader commitment to the Israeli technology ecosystem.

“Quicklizard’s success is a testament to the strength and global reach of Israeli innovation,” said Jeff Parks, Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Riverwood Capital. “Pini and the team have built a world-class company tackling one of retail’s most pressing challenges. We are excited to partner with them as they bring dynamic pricing to more brands and retailers around the world – boosting margins, improving agility, and enhancing customer experiences.”
